Evan Larson, assistant professor of metalsmithing, is singled out in a story about local Detroit artists that describes his imagination and craftsmanship as boundless. Larson is one of 16 artists contributing work to the Detroit Artists Market's exhibit "Metalize." Rebecca Mazzei, Metro Times arts editor, says all three of his pieces seem "philosophical, but they also refer to science through metaphors to biology or anatomy."
